The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ (Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ) uses email and other electronic communication methods to help keep parents, guardians and our partners up to date on current information, news and updates. We also use email to avoid printing paper where possible, reducing our environmental footprint.
Canada's anti-spam legislation and compliance
protects consumers and businesses from the misuse of digital technology, including spam and other electronic threats. CASL was created by the Government of Canada to reinforce best practices in email marketing and combat spam and related issues. These could include identity theft, phishing and the spread of malicious software, such as viruses and malware.
The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ is committed to complying with CASL. In order to send an email to parents, guardians or our partners on topics such as the promotion and advertising of school picture sales, field trips, yearbooks, team uniforms, fundraising events or requests, etc., the receiver must first offer their express or implied consent to receive the email or electronic notification from the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.
As the email sender, we are obligated to provide identification of ourselves in each message, as well as an unsubscribe option, after we have obtained consent.
Receiving Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ email and other electronic communication
To receive Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ email and other electronic communication from school or Board staff, you must complete our CASL Consent Online Form. The form provides us with express consent to begin sending email and other communication.
You can unsubscribe (withdraw consent) at any time by using the same form.
